Touch Central @ Lancaster Park
Touch Central @ Lancaster Park is an affiliation of Touch NZ and Touch Canterbury and continues to support the local community.
Our module, which was established in 2005, just continues to impress. We started at little old Barrington Park and had to relocate to South Hagley after the earthquakes. The competition grew too large to ever look back and in 2020 we relocated to Garrick Park near the Woolston Club. With the recent refurbishment of Lancaster Park, we’re excited to bring the module back to the central city with a new era Lancaster Park in 2023 and onwards.
With Electronic scoring systems, and professional administration we have been able to revamp the fast pace action of Touch with exciting new points systems to enhance the already great product.
Referees make up an important cog in the wheel at our module, and we invest a large amount of our resource into them. We boast some of the best Referees in the region and our Ref coordinator has been at it for over 20+ years.
All games are played between 6pm-9pm, and we have Men’s and Mixed with options of either Wednesday or Thursday evening. With many grades, we can find the grade that best suits your teams ability. Don’t hesitate! Enter one of Canterbury’s best modules.
